You may (or may not) have heard the rumour around the closing of our much loved Sauna + Ice Bath Lounge ... sadly, it is true.

It seems like we only just opened this beautiful extension to our Sanctuary however, it was not a decision made lightly or without A LOT of discussion between myself + Ben, and many tears! (I mean that shower!! )

I have always maintained that SKUHLPT is a space designed to invest in SELF, for everyone and anyone who seeks a place to escape "life" and take time time for SELF.

We value honesty + transparency, and I felt that after a few months of running our beautiful lounge, I was not being true to mySELF, as I was feeling depleted, unable to invest in SELF and missing my young family due to being at the studio 7 days a week.

This got me thinking about our values, why I created SKUHLPT and I was not living up to any of them. In order to show up as a better Mother, wife, business owner and individual, I needed to reassess where I was no longer living true to my purpose.

The Wellness Store + Sauna Lounge were becoming a distraction, albeit beautiful distractions, they were no longer serving the vision of SKUHLPT but most importantly, my young family + me.

I am so lucky to be supported by an amazing husband, caring family, a bloody fantastic team of Pilates teachers and a beautiful community that has been showing up for themselves and their health daily, some since we opened nearly two years ago!

The space will certainly not be wasted and in true SKUHLPT style, it will become another carefully curated Movement space, housing Mat Pilates, Yoga and Strength + Conditioning classes (and a little more cardio!).

It will run it's own timetable, and will not impact our existing Reformer Pilates studio ... the two spaces will run concurrently. It also allows some of the team, including myself, to harness our Mat Pilates teaching qualifications + passion for what Mat can do for the overall body and mind.

We hope this new Studio will allow more individuals the opportunity to move their bodies at SKUHLPT, and experience connection to SELF + our wonderful community, whilst offering a slightly more budget friendly option to our Reformer Pilates studio.

Launch date, new membership offers + timetable will be announced in the coming weeks, along with another very exciting addition which we have chosen to keep under our hats for now ... it won't disappoint!
