Skuhlpt Guidelines

A little housekeeping before you jump into class! These simple studio guidelines help keep everything running smoothly and ensure everyone has a respectful, feel-good experience from start to finish.

A sanctuary for all

INTRODUCTORY OFFERS

New to SKULHPT? Hi, welcome! We have a feeling this is the start of something (really) good. To help you settle into the space, check out our introductory offers, exclusively available to our new clients (that’s you!).

SELF STARTER:  21 DAYS OF UNLIMITED CLASSES | $99
INTRO TO PRIVATE CLASSES: TWO 1:1 SESSIONS IN TWO WEEKS | $150

  • Our intro offers are available to new clients of SKUHLPT (one per person).

To help you get the most out of our intro offers, we don’t offer extensions or pauses unless a medical certificate is provided. (If you’re looking for that little extra motivation, this is it!)

Before you get click-happy, one little reminder—refunds + exchanges aren’t available. Our advice? Leave the 1am spontaneous purchases until morning, and be sure to read the offer description before purchasing.

Quick note: Introductory offers are only valid for one session per day, and yep, our cancellation policy still applies.

Skuhlpt Membership

Before you sign up to a membership, take a second to familiarise yourself with the below. If you have further questions, you know where to find us—hello@skuhlpt.com.au.

  • In other words, the good stuff. On top of classes and studio access, members can also enjoy:

    • 10% off SKUHLPT merch

    • 10% off workshops & wellness offerings

    • Bring A Friend for Free: One free pass per calendar month

  • Tiny (but important) need-to-knows about your membership.

    • All memberships are debited WEEKLY.

    • A lock in period of 12 weeks is equal to 12 full debits.

    • No pauses in the first 12 weeks.

    • Late Cancels (less than 6 hours notice) will incur a fee of $10 for all Unlimited members. All other members will receive a $5 Late Cancel fee + their session forfeited.

    • A No Show fee of $18 applies to all Unlimited members. All other members will receive a $10 No Show fee, and have their sessions forfeited.

    • Unused classes do not carry over into the next week—in other words, use it or lose it!

    • Unlimited members (Reformer, Mat & Intro Offer) are capped at one session per day. All Access members are capped at two sessions per day - one Reformer and one floor class per day. (They know what’s up.)

    • Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect purchases, so don’t be afraid to double-check! Be extra mindful when purchasing a class to get on a waitlist. You will be charged and risk not getting into the class. (Don’t worry, the class credit will be available to use at a later date.)

    • Memberships + session packs are valid for one person only. Using another member’s profile isn’t not permitted, and we’re really good at spotting wigs and false noses. So tell your mate: A new profile and class purchase will need to be made.

    • Failed direct debits will incur a fee of $10 for every failed attempt after the first failed debit. Additional fees will be applied to the next billing cycle.

    • Liability waivers MUST be signed before you commence your first class. Don’t blame us—blame our insurance.

And if you only half-read the above, we’ll leave you with this: SKUHLPT is a space for everyone to enjoy. Our rules are in place so our community can get the most out of their experience, which means we can’t bend the rules (even just this once).

Parking officer isn’t in our job description, so the less time we have to spend issuing fees (or critiquing your reverse parallel attempt), the better. Be considerate of your fellow members, and we’ll consider counting you through planks a little faster. Maybe.

  • Time to love us and leave us? We get it (but we’ll miss you). Here’s how to make a clean break:

    • You may only cancel your membership after your initial 12 weeks (12 debits) contract period.

    • Email hello@skuhlpt.com.au 7 days before your debit is due to renew with your membership cancellation request.

    • Please note: Cancellation requests made less than 48 hours before a debit is due will not be processed until the following debit.

CLASS CANCELLATION GUIDELINES

Life happens—we get it. For the times you need to cancel a class last-minute, check out our cancellation policy below.

  • Classes must be cancelled no less than six hours before the class start time. Classes cancelled outside of this time period will be deemed as a Late Cancel or No Show.

Unfortunately, beyond your first late cancellation, we can’t waive our cancellation policy. But if you’re unwell, injured or hospitalised, and have a medical certificate, we’re more than happy to bend the rules.

To avoid those pesky fees, we suggest managing your classes through the App as soon as you’re aware of a change in plans. Because we get it—brunch dates are hard to say no to.

  • Reformer classes require a minimum of three members in order for the class to run (because no one likes talking to an empty room). Floor classes require a minimum of four members. If we are under these numbers, the session will be cancelled by SKUHLPT with a minimum of two hours notice. Your class will be returned to your MOMENCE account, and no fees will be applied. But don’t worry, it doesn’t happen often.

  • The Late Cancel policy applies if you decide to change your class time less than six hours prior to your class starting. It will also still be deemed a Late Cancel, even if you attend a new class time within the same day, so good try.

If you wish to change a class time within the Late Cancel period, you will be given the option to either cancel your original class time and receive the Late Cancel penalty, or receive the Late Class penalty and purchase a new class time at a reduced rate of $20.

If life is starting to get in the way, our recommendation is to book your sessions last-minute to avoid any penalties. You run the risk of being waitlisted for our more popular classes, but better to be in it to win it.

Fees + Charges

Let’s go through the nitty-gritty bits (so you know what to avoid).

    • One waiver will be given for the first late cancel or no show.

    • A $10 late cancel and $18 no show fee is applied for Ultimate, All Floor and All Access members.

    • A $5 late cancel and $10 no show fee will be applied for all other members and packs, along with the session forfeited.

    • The first failed attempt will be waived, and $10 charges incur for each failed attempt thereafter. This will be added to your next debit.

    • After three failed debits, your membership will be cancelled—and we’d hate to see you go.

HYGIENE POLICY

    • We are a socks-only studio. Trust us on this one—it’s for your safety and hygiene (and the class after you will love you for it). Please BYO Pilates grip socks to class.

    • Don’t have a pair? We’ve got you covered. Pilates socks are available to purchase at the studio if needed.

    • For extra comfort and hygiene, please bring a hand towel to your sessions.

    • Towels are required for all heated classes. Hint: Sweat, everywhere.

    • We have filtered tap water at the studio for top-ups as you need.

    • We also have D.R. Hydrate sachets and Pure Cococoast coconut water available for purchase at the studio, in case you need a little extra boost.

  • Our studio bathroom is stocked with female hygiene products, hair ties and toiletries for you to use as you need. We’ve got the essentials covered, but please note that there is no shower at the SKUHLPT studio.

Children policy

At SKUHLPT, we want you (and our community) to be able to bend, stretch and flow without distraction, so we ask that you don’t bring children to the studio during class time. This is also due to our insurance cover, and most importantly, for the safety of the child.

phone policy

Trust us—you don’t want to be that person. Phones can be a major distraction (for you and other members), so keep your phone on silent and stored with your belongings on the bench.

If you work in an industry where you are ‘on call’, please let us know and we can make the exception.
